The debut of the 10-member group, Hey! Say! JUMP, was announced September 24th, 2007. All of the members are born in Japan's Heisei era (1989->) and JUMP is an acronym of 'Johnny's Ultra Music Power', and also has the image of jumping into the new era. JUMP is also split into two subgroups, Hey! Say! 7 (younger part) and Hey! Say! BEST (older part).
